Synopsis

In the sleepy town of Brattleboro, Vermont, Detective Joe Gunther is called to investigate a seemingly open-and-shut case of murder. But as he digs deeper, he uncovers a tangled web of secrets, lies, and betrayals.

The victim, a young woman named Sarah Jones, was a well-known artist and teacher. She was also the daughter of a powerful local politician.
